Taraji P. Henson’s Super Bowl 2017 appearance was bittersweet for multiple reasons. The 46-year-old actress explained that her late father loved football and she wishes she could have taken him to a Super Bowl. Her father, Boris Henson, passed away in 2006. In Taraji’s book, Around The Way Girl, she shares beautiful memories of her father.
The Super Bowl was also bittersweet for Henson because the Atlanta Falcons lost. Taraji made it clear that she wanted Atlanta to win and she was spotted with multiple Atlanta natives, including Usher and Lucacris. The image below shows Taraji with Usher:
