Episode 5 of season 4, “Don’t Thank Me” was one of the best episodes of Power I’ve ever seen. Ghost is finally free! He was able to convince Angela that he didn’t murder Agent Greg Knox.
Angela reviewed the footage from the surveillance camera at Truth and she knows James never hid a gun in his office. Prior to finding out that he would be released, Ghost almost got himself in some serious trouble for another murder. Charlie Murphy’s character, Marshal Clyde Williams, pushed Ghost over the edge. Ghost was in the prison’s weight room working out when the Marshal came in and started insulting James’ family.

Marshal Williams picked the wrong day to mess with Ghost. He had a horrible day in court and was trying to burn off some steam. The Marshal beat Ghost up on prior occasions but not this time around. St. Patrick punched the Marshal several times before smashing his head with a weight.James wasn’t thinking. If there was proof that he murdered the Marshal, he would have received the death penalty. Luckily, there were no cameras in the weight room and Tony Teresi came in and saved the day. He killed another prisoner and him and James made it look like a murder-suicide.

Omari Hardwick’s son died around the same time his father was shot six times. As Ghost on Power, Hardwick can’t get anything right in his love life. In reality, him and his wife, Jennifer Pfautch, have a great relationship. She has helped him through numerous tragedies. About 2 years before Hardwick’s son passed, his brother was shot 10 times.
Amazingly, Omari’s father survived being shot six times. A miracle similar to 50 Cent’s survival in real life and on Power. In 2000, 50 Cent was shot 9 times. On the finale episode of Power‘s second season, Ghost left 50’s character, Kanan to die but he survived. Omari and 50 have been through it all, explaining why 50 chose him to play Ghost (James St. Patrick).

What Time Does Power Come On?
The show has been the center of attention this week. Entertainment Weekly explains that the show was born out of Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s desire to create a hip-hop driven series.
According to Refinery 29, we’re lucky enough to be living in a time when there are so many good television shows out there that we can hardly keep up. When the show’s first season premiered, black television shows didn’t exist. As a result, a war began between the only two black shows on TV: Empire and Power.
Times have changed! We have come a long way in a short period of time. There are more black shows, including Black-ish, Being Mary Jane and Star. We’ve realized that there can be more than one black television show. Back in the 90s The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air never threw shade Martin’s way. Instead, the stars of each show, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, teamed up to create Bad Boys.
The stars of Friends didn’t hate on Seinfeld. There’s enough for everybody! It’s quite fine to like both shows.

Charlie Murphy makes an appearance on season 4 of Power. The comedian and actor sadly passed away on April 12, 2017. He plays a prison guard named Williams on Power. James is in jail where he calls his lawyer. He’s taking too long on the phone and Williams tells him to hurry up. I got sad when I saw Charlie.
Murphy died from leukemia. He was only 57-years-old. Many remember his unforgettable appearances on Chappelle’s Show. He’s Eddie Murphy’s older brother so he’s well-connected in Hollywood. Charlie shared stories about Rick James and Prince. The stories were hilarious. Murphy should have tried to do a spinoff show.
Charlie Murphy Power Season 4
James St. Patrick aka Ghost usually has everything figured out. Season 4 of Power is different. St. Patrick’s past is finally catching up with him. He didn’t kill Agent Knox but he can’t be trusted. Angela knows he’s a liar so it will be difficult to convince her that he didn’t do it.
Tasha will have to help James prove his innocence. She always has his back and she hates Angela. Tasha will do whatever it takes to help Ghost.

Hold up wait a minute! If you are a ‘Power‘ fan then you must remember that huge debacle where 50 Cent went to absolute war on social media against the producers of ”Power” for showing his privates on the show. Well it looks like he’s being exposed for faking it, but the gag is the exposing is coming from the executive producer herself–Courtney Kemp!
In August 2016 Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson went on a expletive filled rant about his full frontal scene showing all he had working with; saying that he didn’t approve of the scene and even more importantly it traumatized his Auntie G who had to get up TWICE during the show. Some fans believed his rant and were like “Oh lawd not Auntie G” but others new that the rapper was lying. I mean don’t you have to sign a release form of sorts for a scene like that?
During the madness Courtney, who has writing credits for not only ‘Power’ but also “The Good Wife”, kept it classy and simply responded by posting a photo that was a picture of the credits of the show stating that she was a producer accompanied by the boss-like caption “I’ll just leave that there. @50 Cent”.
Well Kemp seems to have changed her mind about keeping it classy and leaving it at that because it’s seven months later and in an interview with Refinery 29 she tells the truth! When asked about the situation Kemp responded “It’s all bulls—! 50 and I are extremely close, so all that social media drama? It’s just for the show. People truly believed that he did not know his d— was going to be on camera. I couldn’t believe it! Do you know how long we had to prepare for that shot? Of course he knew. The whole thing just gave us so much more buzz and helped me realize how we can use social media to our advantage. 50 Cent is a brilliant marketer.”
There you have it, it was a stunt to get more viewers and it worked. However, outing 50 Cent and herself could easily backfire because she is basically bragging about how she and 50 fooled the viewers.
“Empire”,which will be back March 22, has never did anything this extra for ratings. Just sayin’.
In Power‘s “Trust Me” episode Kaman, 50 Cent’s character, almost murders James “Ghost” St. Patrick’s son, Tariq. Luckily, Tariq explains how much he hates his dad before Kaman can put a bullet in his head. Hidden Remote explains that actor Michael Rainey, Jr. plays Tariq in the Starz series.
The talented 15-year-old is best known for his roles in Barbershop: The Final Cut, Orange Is The New Black and Lee Daniels’ The Butler. According to TV Guide Kanan kidnaps Tariq and offers the teenager some lean from his styrofoam cup. Before picking him up at school, Kanan makes Dre (Rotimi Akinosho) introduce him to Tariq.
Tariq From Power Michael Rainey Jr.
While Dre and Tariq are playing basketball, Kanan shows up, making Dre very uncomfortable. Dre was once a heartless killer but now that he has a daughter he is trying to live an honest life. Ghost has been helping Dre transform his life so Dre cares about Tariq. Dre knows that is he disobeys Kanan, he won’t hesitate to kill him and/or his daughter.
If Ghost finds out about Kanan and Tariq, he will actually kill Kanan for the second time. Season 3’s last two episodes air on September 18 (“I Call The Shots”) and September 25 (“In My Best Interest”). Hopefully Tariq will be able to stay alive in those two episodes and appear on the show’s fourth season.
Spoiler Alert: If you haven’t seen episode 8 of Power season 3, “Trust Me” don’t read this article.
If you’ve been keeping up with the Starz series Power you’re probably wondering who Agent Juan Julio Medina is. The character is played by actor, Greg Serano. You probably remember him from his role as Pablo Betart on Wildfire. He also played Enrique Salvatore in the 2001 film, Legally Blonde.
According to Indie Wire the show’s third season wraps up in a few weeks. In episode 8 of the show’s third season, “Trust Me” Medina calls Agent Greg Knox out for using him to pull information while Knox was suspended. After Knox finds out that there were two sets of footprints found at the scene of Lobos’ murder, he visits Medina and tries to convince him that Tommy Egan and James “Ghost” St. Patrick killed Lobos.

Agent Media makes it clear that he has had enough of Agent Knox’s tactics. He is unable to understand why a drug distributor would want to kill his international connect who keeps him filthy rich. Agent Knox thinks there’s a new connect but Agent Medina wants facts. He advises Greg to lose his phone number if he’s unable to provide more concrete evidence.

Milan, the only character on the show who Ghost is afraid of, issues an order to push a new product. Bossip reports that rapper, 50 Cent has been attempting to get singer, Chris Brown on the show but he has been unsuccessful. According to rumors, executives at Starz do not want the singer on the show.
