Halima Aden’s Yeezy Season 5 appearance was unforgettable. The beautiful hijab-wearing model helped Kanye West break boundaries. The Somali-American is 19-years-old. She was born in a Kenyan refugee camp and made her runway debut with Kim Kardashian sitting in the front row. She currently attends Saint Cloud State University in Minnesota.
It’s great to see Kanye West back to normal. The rapper has a collaboration with Drake coming very soon. Many thought the track would release at the fashion show but that didn’t happen. Kanye didn’t have any new music for the show. The GOOD Music emcee played “Bed” by The Dream.

Is Halima Aden gonna be walking runways in a hijab? That’s fucking huge. Somali girls are fucking trailblazers.

Kanye’s journey into the fashion industry has been eventful to say the least. He’s always making headlines by introducing new faces and exploring unique ideas.
And of course he remains the most diverse casting of any show ever. He made a major statement with Halima Aden. 🙌🏼
