Philadelphia Eagles, Colin Kaepernick - You Decide

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, Carson Wentz suffered a knee injury so Twitter wants the team to sign Colin Kaepernick.  According to initial reports, Wentz suffered an ACL injury but he didn't completely tear his ACL.  Regardless of your political beliefs, there's no denying that Kaepernick is better than most backup quarterbacks in the NFL.

This could be the right injury to the right quarterback at the right time.  If Colin wouldn't have kneeled during the national anthem a team would have signed him.  In 2016, Kaepernick played in 12 games for the San Francisco 49ers and threw for 2,241 yards, 16 touchdowns and four interceptions.

On Sunday night, Philadelphia's backup quarterback, Nick Foles, led the team to a victory over the Los Angeles Rams.  The Eagles traded Foles in 2015 but brought him back this year.

Foles has a 88.2 passer rating while Kaepernick's passer rating is 88.9.  Colin has thrown for 72 touchdowns and 30 interceptions compared to Nick's 56 touchdowns and 27 interceptions.

Unlike Kaepernick, Foles isn't a distraction.  Colin's career has become more important than football so he should probably consider retiring.
