Did Taraji P. Henson win an Oscar at the 2017 Academy Awards? No, but the Empire star still had a terrific night.  Hidden Figures was nominated for Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.  Moonlight won Best Picture along with Best Adapted Screenplay.  Mahershala Ali won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as Juan in the film.

Taraji P. Henson reminded us that the secret to happiness is accepting where you are in life and making the most out of every day.  Jimmy Kimmel sent candy from the sky and one of the packets fell right in Henson's lap.  The 46-year-old proved that age ain't nothing but a number, transforming into a kid in a candy store.

Taraji and her Hidden Figures co-stars, Janelle Monae and Octavia Spencer, slayed the red carpet.

Octavia Spencer received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role but Viola Davis won the award.  Davis deserved the award thanks to her role as Rose in Fences.

The tweet above explains that we are all Taraji P. Henson.  The actress reminds us to live our lives and forget our age.
