Is Jordan Smith From The Voice Gay?

Is Jordan Smith from The Voice gay? No, he actually married his longtime girlfriend, Kristen Denny on January 1, 2016.  The couple got married in September.  They exchanged vows in Middleborough, Kentucky.  Jordan popped the question shortly after winning season 9 of The Voice.  In an interview with People, Smith explains that they're a perfect fit.

Scroll to the video to see Jordan perform "O Holy Night" on season 11 of reality singing competition series.  Viewers were able to select the song Smith performed and they chose "O Holy Night" over some classic holiday tracks.  We were surprised that "Jingle Bell Rock" didn't win!

Smith was born on November 4, 1993 and recently celebrated his 23rd birthday.  He sang in his church choir, leading him to pursue his career as a singer.  Smith's mom and dad are both musicians and the apple didn't fall far from the tree!

Jordan was the first contestant on The Voice's ninth season to reach number 1 on the iTunes Store.  The 23-year-old also dominated the Billboard charts during his time on the series.

It's difficult to believe that Jordan wasn't picked for the show after his first audition.  After he auditioned for season 8 and wasn't chosen Smith stayed in touch with producers and was eventually selected for season 9.
