The rapper's enthusiastic performances remind us of Busta Rhymes back in his younger days. Both artists are from New York: Busta was born in Brooklyn on May 20, 1972 while Desiigner was born in Brooklyn on May 3, 1997. Both emcees also teach us the importance of enthusiasm. Talent can only take you so far but enthusiasm is the driving force necessary to accomplish your goals.
Desiigner got shot when he was only 14-years-old. The same year, he decided to focus his attention on becoming a successful rapper. Growing up in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood wasn't easy for the young recording artist but he worked hard and now he's on top of the game. Busta Rhymes isn't the only Brooklyn rapper he shares similarities with. The Notorious B.I.G. grew up on the same streets of Bedford-Stuyvesant that made Desiigner who he is today.
