Mallory Pugh's Parents

Fox Sports reports that the future of U.S. women's soccer is looking brighter than ever thanks to Mallory Diane "Mal" Pugh.  On Friday night the team played Costa Rica and the 18-year-old looked amazing.  The left winger led the USWNT to a 4-0 victory.  The Colorado-native weaved through Costa Rica's back line, setting up her teammates and scoring from impressive angles.

According to The Denver Post, her father still remembers hearing a soccer ball bouncing off the wall of his garage.  At 14-years-old, she spent countless hours in the garage of her home, perfecting her juggling and footwork.  She most likely worked hard thanks to her family's competitive nature.  Mile High Sports explains that everything was a competition with the Pughs.  Let's take a closer look at the parents of the U.S. women's team new sensation.
