What Does Steph Curry's Tattoo On His Bicep Mean?

If you watched the NBA Finals you probably noticed the tattoo on Steph Curry's left inner-bicep.  The ink appears to be a greater than symbol next to a less than symbol (> <).

The greater than less than is a symbol of John 3:30.  The verse reads, "He must increase, but I must decrease."  This is a very similar message to Philippians 4:13 which Curry has on his shoes: "I can do all this through him who gives me strength."

The Warriors guard is religious as proven by his previous tattoos.  The video below shows him getting a bible verse on his wrist:


LeBron James may have brought a NBA Championship home to Cleveland but Curry had an amazing season.  His ink makes it clear that God has more knowledge than us therefore we should not question the path he has set out for our lives.

The 2016 NBA Finals put up Empire numbers.  Game 7 was the most watched game ever on ABC.  The Super Bowl remains the most-watched sports event of the year with 111.9 million viewers.
